MALIBU FARM > RODEO DRIVE > FIG & OLIVE
Yesterday me, Carro, Sofie & Linn decided to go on a roadtrip to LA. We rented a car at Hertz and got a Mustang cabriolet, amazing!! With the wind in our hair we drove among the coastline singing louder than ever. Such a happy moment :)
Our first stop was at Malibu Farm where we had lunch. As you know, Malibu pier is one of my absolute favourite places and the food at Malibu Farm is lovely. After that we continued our roadtrip to LA and Rodeo Drive. Rodeo Drive is the street that Julia Roberts goes shopping at in the movie ''Pretty Women''. They have loads of expensive brands as Saint Laurent, Chanel, Hermes and so on. It was really fun to look in all the stores and I treated myself with a nice nailvanish and a mascara from Chanel. Didn't buy anything else though because of the high prices.
In the evening we went to Melrose Avenue and had dinner at a restaurant called Fig & Olive. I had gorgonzola risotto with chicken and a chocolate fondant as a dessert. The food was really good!!
Oh yes I forgot to say that we drove up to the Griffith Observatory before dinner. The view there was fantastic, we could see the lights over the whole city.
