3 weeks

Today it is monday again and I have no more than 3 weeks left. I am enjoying every single second I have left with my friends here. I don't know when I'll see them the next time after this...

We started the weekend with our traditional taco-thursday! It tastes as good every time. Me, Carro and Fanny stayed talking by the table for 3 hours. Love cozy girl nights like those.

On friday me, Carro and Fanny lay on the beach. In the afternoon we went to Antioch University on an international free-food event. A lot of students were there of course, try find a student who says no to free food!?

In the evening we had decided to party - the first time in three weeks! At first we started pre-partying at our house with the girls. That is almost always the best part of the evening. Later on we went to an army-party at Beach City. People there had dressed up as military men. It was okay but nothing special, so me and Carro decided to take an Uber to Isla Vista. The house where the party was is the biggest house I have ever been to. There must be 30 students living there if not even more. The corridors were like labirynths! They had decorated the whole house with christmas stuff, for example they had covered the walls with christmas gift wrappings, and they even had a snow machine! It was a fun experience to go to a fraternity party, but it had started to close down when we came so we went home again quite soon.

The morning after me and Carro decided to have breakfast on State Street. We went to a new-opened café and had salmon bagels. They were AMAZING. It tasted like the dishes on the Swedish west coast, which according to me is the best food you can eat. Anyway, after that lovely breakfast we went down to the beach and tanned for a while.

In the evening we had pizza at PizzaRev with Fanny and Sandra. You can choose your own toppings at that place, such a good idea. Before we went home we sat at Starbucks for a while laughing at everything. We were so tired.

When we came home the neighbours had thrown a party in the basement, which means that it is impossible to sleep in my and Carros room. Therefore I moved my madress into Sofie and Monjas room and we had a sleepover.

Yesterday I made scrambled eggs for breakfast. Then I did the laundry and after that I went for a 7 km long walk by the beach. It was 29 degrees! Fantastic. In the afternoon I studied at Starbucks with Sofie and Linn.

While I was locking my bike when we had gone home I heard Sofie screaming ''Emelie, Emelie! Come here quickly!'' I ran into the house and it turned out that Carro had cut her finger pretty bad while cooking food. Me and Sofie went with her to the emergency and she got stitches. Poor Carro :(

Right now I am sitting at French Press with Sofie. It's about time for me to stop blogging and start finishing my essay. Talk to you later folks
